  The origin of Narcolepsy in where One very small part of our hypothalamus of those living with type one Narcolepsy with Cataplexy is housed within the hypothalamus, part of our limbic system controlling our most basic needs and drive for survival, reproduction. The immune system attacks the ventrolateral preoptic nucleus (VLPO or VLPN), obliterating the neurons secreting Hypocretin (Orexin) the chemical responsible for controlling our sleep-wake cycles. Once this happens (an autoimmune response) those neurons are gone. Faith Bigger than Fear is Vital to Surviving Chronic Invisible Disabilities

 I would love to hear how you know what it's like to be at your lowest but still come out on top in the end. My Faith in The Lord carried me at my lowest parts of my life, and at times I could have given up hope, as logic and the world say so. Nope, I held on tight to God... that I would find a great man, more stability, and a family (Savannah Diane 's been my daughters name for 15yrs).
